Jesse is een Puur ontdeugend veulen. De eerste dag dat hij de wei op mocht vond hij meteen uit dat je niet alleen achter het stroomdraad hoeft te staan, maar er ook gewoon doorheen kan lopen. De eerste dag stond Jesse welgeteld vijf keer aan de verkeerde kant van het draad. Moeder Lotte vond dit maar niks, ze rende elke keer hard achter haar al veel te vroeg puberende zoon aan in plaats van andersom.

Jesse is a purely naughty foal. The first day he was allowed to go out to the meadows he immediately found out that you not only have to stand behind the wired fence, but that you could just walk through it. That day, Jesse was on the wrong side of the wired fence five times. Mother Lotte didn’t agree with this and she ran after her adolescent son each time.
